We love WordPress here at MediaCrazed. It’s our platform of choice when building out solutions for our clients.
One of the great features of WordPress is that you can integrate your website with a ton of online services. Mailchimp is a favorite!
If you have no idea what a Mailchimp is, no worries… Mailchimp is an online email marketing service that makes it easy to manage subscribers, send emails, and track results. They also have some very powerful automation services!
When I first started testing the waters of email marketing I was already familiar with Mailchimp. I loved the design of their website and the screenshots of their dashboard looked just as polished.
I found it incredibly easy to get lists imported and forms setup, and within 20 minutes had an initial email drafted and ready to go out.
Easy for us, easy for clients!
This sense of “easiness” is a big reason why we recommend Mailchimp to our clients. Most of them have enough going on with running their business day-to-day and don’t want any additional headaches that sometimes comes with learning new software.
They just want to be able to send out an awesome email to customers that will knock them out of their seats!

On just about every website that we build for clients there is an option for viewers to subscribe to some sort of list. Maybe it’s an ecommerce site that wants to keep you informed of upcoming sales, or maybe a company offering up an eBook or White Paper.
We use Mailchimp to help our clients collect customer data so that they can stay in touch later down the road. And, because Mailchimp has made such an effort to make it simple to use, our clients feel at ease and not intimidated.

I say all of the above just to mention that I’m giving a short presentation at our WordPress Meetup group on “Ways to Integrate Mailchimp Into Your WordPress Website”.
I won’t be doing a “how-to” presentation because that could take all day, but rather some examples of what you can do and ways to do it.
I’ll also be sharing some plugins that help get this sort of thing done even quicker!
